The Hesston College men’s soccer team lost a tight 1-0 game to Oklahoma Wesleyan JV (Bartlesville) on Tuesday, Sept. 30, dropping its season record to 0-10.
The teams fought to a 0-0 score for most of the game before an OWU goal in the 73rd minute proved the difference. OWU had an 18-3 advantage in shots-on-goal. Hesston’s Oliver Wisseman (Prineville, Ore.) recorded 17 saves.
The Larks look for their first win of the year when they host Northeastern Oklahoma A&M at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3.
