The Hesston College men’s soccer team came back from a 3-0 second half deficit to tie the Mules of Northwest Kansas Technical College (2-2-2).
After trailing 2-0 at halftime, then 3-0 midway through the second half, the Larks found some rhythm in scoring three goals in a twenty minute span. Freshman Dakota Hearrell (Houston, Texas) scored his first two collegiate goals for the Larks, his second coming with only 30 seconds remaining in the second half to force overtime. Neither team scored in the ten minute extra time period.
Men’s soccer (1-5-1) will return to the pitch Friday, Sept. 24, when they host Barton Community College. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
